Accepting The Artist In Me

2019, such an amazing year for me. I ended 2018 on an "Art Adventure" and one year later...I'm An Artist!! At first, I was afraid to call myself an artist. I felt like a fraud initially. Most artist I knew, started their craft at an early age or went to school. I was unable to accept the fact that I was given a talent by the most divine to share with the world.

Before art, I just worked. I asked the universe to provide me with a hobby, something to do. I knew life couldn't just be working and traveling here and there. Next thing you know it, I'm vending/showcasing at over 45 events and by the end of 2019, it'll be over 50! I cannot wait to see what 2020 will bless me with. I'm scared but excited at the same time. I hope that I build even more relationships with the artist that I've met.

Moving forward, if you're an artist, a business owner or whatever you're doing in life, keep believing in yourself. It sounds so cliché, but I mean it. Life isn't supposed to be cookie cutter perfect, it’s supposed to be rough, fun, sad, exciting, mellow, adventurous and so much more. So, I say all that to say, if you have a dream keep pushing for it, not matter what.

Love,

Angie, The Artist
