Intrusive Thoughts

Have you ever had a thought cross your mind it made you, clutch your pearls! A thought or even an actionable thought that had you look at yourself in the mirror. Yea, those are intrusive thoughts. Not necessarily curated in the moment you are in but a crazy reality your mind takes you to.


Just picture yourself, enjoying yourself at a gathering, you’re surrounded by friends and family. You’re sipping a glass of wine or water, you look over at someone that you may not care too much for. Then BOOM! You think, I could throw this water right on that “Sob”! Then SNAP! You’re back to that gathering, clutching your pearls at the sheer thought of starting drama. The insane reason why your mind thought that. Or your intrusive thoughts can be as kind of crazy or as silly as what would it be like if I just started driving on this sidewalk.


I’m not sure if you get my drift but what I’m saying is intrusive thoughts are exactly that they intrude they invade they can throw you off. They can make you look at yourself different. Sometimes they can be extremely silly and then sometimes they can also be extremely dire.


But the intrusive thoughts that I truly want to talk about are the thoughts that we have with our ourselves? Those moments when you have high anxiety or self-doubt or if you’re self sabotaging, I feel like those are intrusive energies, but they come from the manifestation of a thought process.


So when you’re in this earthbound journey, and you know to be honest, we are our biggest cheer cheerleaders. It’s important that our cheers.
